7-1-1: Adoption of Fire Prevention Code
7-1-1: Adoption of Fire Prevention Code: For the purpose of regulating and governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire, the Fire Prevention Code, 1956 Edition, as recommended by the National Board of Fire Underwriters, is hereby adopted. Said Fire Prevention Code, three (3) copies of which shall be on file at all times in the office of the Clerk, shall be makde a part of this Code as if set out in length herein. (Revised Code 1959)

FIREWORKS
7-2-1: Fireworks Defined
7-2-2: Fireworks Prohibited
7-2-3: Exceptions:
7-2-1: Fireworks Defined: Any combustible or explosive material combined in such a manner as to produce lights or flashes of light or explosive noises for display or amusement.
7-2-2: Fireworks Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person to have any fireworks in his possession.
7-2-3: Exceptions:
(A) That nothing in this Chapter shall be held to apply to the possession or use of signaling devices for current daily consumption by railroads, trucks and other requiring them.
(B) That the Chief of Fire Department of the Clerk, may upon due application, issue a permit to a properly qualified person for giving a pyrotechnic display in the public parks or other open places. (Revised Code 1959)
