The regular meeting of the Riggins Urban Renewal Agency was called to order by Chairman and Board Member Robert Crump. Other Board Members present included Anderson, Barnard, Klobetanz and McClure. Board Member Friend was absent.
The minutes of the previous meeting were presented. Members were individually polled and all confirmed they had read the minutes. There were no additions or corrections offered and the minutes were approved as presented.
The financial statement was presented detailing $424.98Revenue, $300.00 Disbursements, with a balance of $894.34 as of 06-30-09. Motion was made by Crump, seconded by Klobetanz, to approve the financial statement and to pay the $150 July administration charge to the City. Voting yea, Anderson, Barnard, Crump, Klobetanz and McClure. No nays.
Motion was made by Crump, seconded by McClure, to add the following item to the Agenda: Budget Workshop to consider the 2009-2010 tentative budget. Voting yea, Anderson, Barnard, Crump, Klobetanz and McClure. No nays.
After discussion motion was made by Crump, seconded by McClure, to schedule a special meeting for the budget workshop, for consideration of the 2009-2010 tentative budget, to be held July 16th at 1:00pm at the City Hall. Voting yea, Anderson, Barnard, Crump, Klobetanz and McClure. No nays.
Chairman Crump reported on the White Water Park project. A meeting was held earlier at the site, and it was agreed that Browns would donate the land needed FOR the park development. A survey will be needed to identify the property. Carl Skyrman is working with REP about the survey needs. Chairman Crump is also writing a grant for technical assistance from Rivers Trails Conservation Assistance, and Carl Skyrman will work with them also, if the assistance is granted. Crump will write a summary of the on-site discussion and forward to the Agency members, DeBoer, Skyrman and REP.
