The regular meeting of the Riggins URA was called to order by Chairman and Board Member Robert Crump. Other Board Members present were Tom Anderson, Larry Barnard, Carolyn Friend and Glenna McClure. Member Norm Klobetanz was absent.
The minutes were presented and members individually polled, all confirming they had read the minutes. Since there were no additions or corrections offered, the minutes were approved as presented.
The financial statement was presented showing $185.02 revenue received and $949.72 disbursements made during April, leaving a 4-30-09 balance of $769.34. After review, motion was made by Anderson, seconded by McClure, to approve the financial statement as presented. Voting yea, Anderson, Barnard, Crump, Friend, and McClure. No nays.
Motion was made by Crump, seconded by Friend, to pay the $150 May administration costs due to the City. Voting yea, Anderson, Barnard, Crump, Friend and McClure. No nays.
The $50,000 GEM grant application for the White Water Park engineering services was discussed. It was reported that CEDA had been retained by the City to write the GEM grant. After discussion, motion was made by Crump, seconded by Barnard, to approve a URA MOPA reimbursement agreement for the $200 grant writing fee paid by the City. Voting yea, Anderson, Barnard, Crump, Friend and McClure. No nays.
Chairman Crump reported that the $50,000 grant required a $10,000 match. The City would contribute $2500 In-Kind match for administration, but an additional $7500 cash match was required. After discussion, it was agreed that Judd DeBoer should be approached for the cash match required. Chairman Crump agreed to contact DeBoer.
