The regular meeting of the Riggins Urban Renewal District was called to order by Board Member and Chairman Robert Crump. Other Board Members present were Anderson, Barnard, Klobetanz, Friend and McClure. Richelle Barger was also present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were presented. Board Members were individually polled and all confirmed they had read the minutes and offered no additions or corrections. The minutes were then approved as presented. The financial statement was read detailing no April Revenue received, and April Expenses in the amount of $1012.15, making the total URA balance as of 4-3-08 $526.60. Motion was made by Barnard, seconded by Anderson, to approve the financial report. Voting yea, Anderson, Barnard, Crump, Friend, Klobetanz and McClure. No nays.
It was reported that Recreation Engineering and Planning (REP), who will be completing the White Water Park Study, would like to schedule a site visit and meeting during the last two weeks of June. After review, it was suggested that it be scheduled for June 23, the same day as the budget public hearings. REP will be contacted to confirm a site visit at 1:00pm, with a meeting with the URA and City Council at 5:30 following the public hearings. The Clerk will finalize that date with REP, then confirm the schedule with the URA and City Council.
The May 16th meeting with JUB Engineer Brett Converse was also scheduled. The meeting will begin at 1:00pm with a tour of the treatment plant, then resume at 3:00pm at the City Hall. There will be a break for dinner at 5:00, with Larry Barnard offering to provide Choo Choo BBQ dinner. The meeting will resume at 6:00 to meet with JUB and Developers.
