The regular meeting of the Riggins Urban Renewal Agency was called to order by Chairperson Glenna McClure.  Board members Jonny Wilson and Matt Sinclair were absent.  Other Board members present were Roy Akins, Gary Miller, and Carolyn Friend (via phone).


PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: The minutes of the January 2019 meeting were presented and members individually polled, all agreeing they had reviewed the minutes.  Motion was made by Miller to approve the minutes as presented; seconded by Akins; voting yea, Akins, Miller, Friend, and McClure.  No nays; motion carried.


FINANCIAL STATEMENT:  The financial statement was presented detailing the 12/31/18 cash balance of $4,637.95, with $7,003.13 in receipts, and $4,275.00 in disbursements, leaving a cash balance of $7,366.08 in regular checking, and $25 in the Share Account as of 12/31/18.  Cash in the Sewer Obligation Reserve showed a beginning balance of $25,671.13; interest of $172.02, a contribution of $4,000.00, leaving a balance of $29,843.15.  Akins made a motion to approve the Financial Statement; seconded by Miller; voting yea, Miller, Akins, Friend, and McClure.  No nays, motion carried.


DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS:  Motion was made by Akins to pay $225 for April through June Administration, and to transfer $6,500 to the Sewer Obligation Reserve Fund.  Motion was seconded by Miller.  Voting yea, Friend, Miller, Akins and McClure.  No nays; motion carried. 


HOUSE BILL 217:  Briefly discussed HB 217 which has passed both House and Senate and is on the Governor’s desk for signature.  Chairperson McClure sent a letter to each of the Senators on the Committee on March 19th requesting a NO vote on the Bill. 


There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
