The regular meeting of the Riggins URA was called to order by Chairman and Board Member Robert Crump.  Other Board Members present were Roy Akins, Larry Barnard,  Norm Klobetanz and Glenna McClure.  Board Member Carolyn Friend was absent. Also present was Matt Sinclair.

 

Boardmember appointments were the first order of business.  Motion was made by Crump, seconded by Barnard to reappoint Carolyn Friend as a URA Boardmember, and to appoint Matt Sinclair to fill the Board position recently vacated by Norm Klobetanz. Both to serve for four-year terms, expiring in January 2015.   Voting yea, Akins, Barnard, Crump and McClure.  No nays, motion carried.

 

The minutes were presented and members individually polled, all confirming they had read the minutes.  Since there were no additions or corrections offered, the minutes were approved as presented.

 

The financial statement was presented showing the 12-31-10 balance of $694.98, with $7574.62 Idaho County tax revenue received and $450.00 paid to the City for Jan-March Administration, leaving a balance of $7819.60 as of  03-31-11.  There is also $12,003.90 in the Sewer Obligation Reserve Fund. After review, motion was made by Crump, seconded by McClure, to approve the financial statement as presented.  Voting yea, Akins, Barnard, Crump, McClure and Sinclair.  No nays, motion carried.

 

The following disbursements were made:

$450 Administration - Motion was made by Crump, seconded by McClure, to pay the City $450 Administration for April-June 2011.  Voting yea, Akins, Barnard, Crump, McClure and Sinclair.  No nays, motion carried.

$6500 Transfer to Sewer Obligation Reserve Motion was made by Barnard, seconded by Akins to transfer $6500 from the checking account to the Sewer Obligation Reserve.  Voting yea, Akins, Barnard, Crump, McClure and Sinclair.  No nays, motion carried.

City $10,000 Sewer Bond Payment Motion was made by Crump, seconded by McClure, to pay the City $10,000 from the Sewer Obligation Reserve, to be applied to the Sewer Bond payment due in May.  Voting yea, Akins, Barnard, Crump, McClure and Sinclair.  No nays, motion carried.

 

White Water Park

It was reported that the Joint application for the White Water In-stream work had been withdrawn due to cost of studies being required, with no guarantee of meeting the agencies concerns or permit approval.

The presentation of the U of I student concept and designs will be presented at 4:00pm Monday, May 2nd at the Salmon Rapids Lodge.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.
