The regular meeting of the Riggins Urban Renewal Agency was called to order by Chairman and Board Member Robert Crump. Other Board Members present included Tom Anderson, Larry Barnard, Carolyn Friend, Norm Klobetanz and Glenna McClure.
The minutes of the previous meeting were presented. Board Members were polled and all confirmed that they had read the minutes. No corrections or additions were offered and the minutes were approved as presented.
The financial statement was read showing a balance of $1538.75. After review, motion was made by Barnard, seconded by McClure, to pay $1,000 plus interest towards Browns Industries OPA. Voting yea, Anderson, Barnard, Crump, Friend, Klobetanz and McClure. No nays.
The Clerk reported that no word had been received concerning the White Water Park study. She will contact Recreation Engineering and Planning to inquire about their schedule. Chairman Crump also reported that Devon Barker would like to be on the review committee, and he had welcomed her input. She will be included, and notified of upcoming meeting dates.
The subject of changing the URA meeting time was brought up. Since the meetings are quite short, it was suggested that the meeting be scheduled at 6:30pm, rather than 6:00pm.
After discussion, motion was made by Barnard, seconded by Klobetanz, to formally change the meeting time to 6:30 pm, beginning in May. Voting yea, Anderson, Barnard, Crump, Friend, Klobetanz and McClure. No nays.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
