RIGGINS URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY

January 10, 2018 – 6:15 p.m.

The regular meeting of the Riggins Urban Renewal Agency was called to order by Chairperson Glenna McClure.  Board member Matt Sinclair was absent.  Other Board members present were Carolyn Friend, Roy Akins, Gary Miller and Jonny Wilson. 

PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting were presented and members individually polled, all agreeing they had reviewed the minutes.  Motion was made by Wilson to approve the minutes as presented; seconded by Akins; voting yea, McClure, Wilson, Akins, Friend and Miller.  No nays; motion carried.

FINANCIAL STATEMENT:  The financial statement was read detailing the 9/30/17 cash balance of $3,242.73, with $2,019.86 in receipts, and $2,312.50 in disbursements, leaving a cash balance of $2,950.09 as of 12/31/17.  Cash in the Sewer Obligation Reserve showed a beginning balance of $16,227.95; interest of $52.26, a contribution of $2,000.00, leaving a balance of $18,280.21.  Friend made a motion to approve the Financial Statement; seconded by Miller; voting yea, Miller, McClure, Akins, Friend and Wilson.  No nays, motion carried.

REAPPOINTMENT TO BOARD:  Motion was made by Friend to reappoint Wilson and McClure to the Board with both appointments expiring in January 2022.  Motion was seconded by Miller.  No nays; motion carried.

DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS:  Motion was made by Akins to pay $225 for January through March 2018 Administration, and contribute $2,000 to the Sewer Obligation Reserve leaving a balance of $725.09 in the checking account.  Motion was seconded by Wilson; voting yea, Akins, McClure, Wilson, Miller, and Friend.  No nays, motion carried. 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
