The regular meeting of the Riggins URA was called to order by Board Member and Chairman Robert Crump. Other Board members present were Tom Anderson, Carolyn Friend and Norm Klobetanz. Board Members Barnard and McClure were absent.
The minutes of the previous meeting were presented. Board members were polled and all confirmed that they had read the minutes. There were no corrections or additions, and motion was made by Crump, seconded by Klobetanz, to approve the minutes as presented. Voting yea, Anderson, Crump, Friend and Klobetanz. No nays, motion carried.
The financial statement was read detailing a 9-30-09 balance of $1238.60, with $64.72 tax increment received in October, with $150.00 disbursements, leaving a balance of $1153.32 as of October 31, 2009. There is also $6969.25 in the URA Sewer Project Obligation Fund. After discussion, motion was made by Crump, seconded by Klobetanz, to approve the financial statement. Voting yea, Anderson, Crump, Friend and Klobetanz. No nays, motion carried. Motion was then made by Klobetanz, seconded by Friend, to pay $150 to the City for November administration. Voting yea, Anderson, Crump, Friend and Klobetanz. No nays, motion carried.
Chairman Crump reported that the City had received a technical assistance grant from the National Park Service RTCA program. A telephone conference with Dan Miller from the National Park Service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, if any of the Board Members would like to participate.
It was reported that the Public Hearing for the consideration of the URD Extension would be held by the City Council on November 23, 2009, 4:00pm in the City Council chambers.
Chairman Crump reported that work on the Salmon River Road Project continues, with work on the bridge in progress. It was reported that the temporary construction bypass had been paved, but that work on the US#95 roadway had been suspended for the winter.
