A special meeting of the Riggins City Council was called to order by Mayor Glenna McClure.  Councilors present were Wilson, Akins and Miller.  Councilor Friend was absent.  Guests: Ross Campbell, John Pottenger, Stan Autrey and Teresa Mignerey.

The purpose of this special meeting was to review the Cemetery Hill Waterline Replacement Project, and to answer any questions residents might have.

OVERVIEW:  Ross gave an overview of the project – the waterline will be replaced and new meters will be installed.  Project will take approximately 2 weeks.  Water service will be turned back on in the evenings.  Work will be completed in sections, starting at the top and working to the bottom of the hill.  A flushing hydrant will also be installed.

START DATE:  Sometime after rodeo weekend.  When the date is determined, Cemetery Hill residents will be notified.

Teresa Mignerey expressed her appreciation to the City Council for making this investment in the system that’s had problems for a long time.

Stan Autrey stated he’s excited!

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5.45 p.m.
